+ met a cool girl Gail from US on Vatican line
+ got into Vatican at noon, yes longest line ever 2.5 hrs
+ saw Sistine Chapel, not impressed at first, but then then it grew on me
+ Michaelangelo was the only one able to paint Gods ass
+ were able to get into Pantheon, its about 2000 years old, big hole in the ceiling and Rafael (the artist) has his tomb there, pretty cool place
+ we hung out with Gail all day visiting lots of places
+ Eric, Gail and I met my friend Miranda out for dinner (Miranda was staying in a pimp ass hotel, The Hassler, for work). Miranda literally bumped into Sean Connery on the breakfast line at the hotel.
+ long day and another great night of sleep
by the way at this point I need to comment on my buddy Eric's hygiene. First off he doesn't like to shower (but neither does anyone else in Europe). He brought along 3 pairs of socks, and trust me they stink. I can smell his feet from across the train seat. By the way, I feel sorry for his shoes. Lets just say that he does some really nasty stuff and I don't even want to put my clothes in the same washing machine as his.
