Although the hostel toilet and I developed a one way relationship of where I pretty much abused it all night, I was able to break that unhealthy relationship due to a new friend called Cipro. Cipro is the stomach antibiotic which I eventually broke down and took on sunday morning after not really having improved much through the night.
I forced myself to go to the beach and chill out for a while with the others. Although I wasn't able to surf, others put my board to some beginner use, so it wasn't a waste to shelp it out there.
I was not sure how I felt about the four hour bus ride back to San Jose considering my condition. The bus to San Jose has no toilet on it, nada, and it only stops once inbetween for a break. Pretty much my and anyone sitting around me's worst nightmare. I started poping some immodiums to aid the situation. Come bus time, my stomach was gurgling and bubbling, but I felt solid enough (no pun intended) to take the ride. Luck was on my side and I got away with nothing more than a bloated and gurgling stomach the whole way (I'm graffic, I know, just be happy I don't feel like explaining it in any more detail). Super happy to see my bed and a nice toilet, I'm gonna have to go buy me some of that Aloe toilet paper, that stuff is incredible.
