Back in San Jose now. We made the drive in about six hours. We suffered some traffic, but it actually could have been much worse, so we did ok. It was a great few days that we had on the beach of surfing, tanning and chilling out. Alan heads back to school in Scotland tomorrow, Andrew and Catalina don't go back till the 5th, so I will probably hang out with them once more before they head back.
My Spanish classes would potentially start on the 8th, I have to get confirmation from the school that I can take classes, but they are currently closed. So I have a few days to kill. Silvia invited me to go with her and a friend to Arenal volcano around the 5th. And a friend of my dads invited me to go do a bit of mountain biking on the 7th in a park that consists of a nice jungle. I will probably try and squeeze a day trip to somewhere else. I also really need to find a fast internet cafe to upload all these damn pics that I have.
Originally I didn't have any new years resolutions, but then I thought about it and came up with some things that I wanted to start doing:
1) get my Spanish up to a high level (that was already part of the master plan)
2) work on my portrait photography
3) do push ups, sit ups and pull ups everyday
4) surf every chance that I get
5) try to pick up the harmonica
