Hey Guyz,

I have arrived. I lucked up and got on the flight. I even had an aisle seat!!!! Of course my seat mate was about 250lbs. Needless to say, no sleep. However i knew a couple of the flight attendants and they took good care of me. I arrived in Prague 0915 on the 17th. I arrived at the hostel about noon. I reserved a single, climbed 3 flights of stairs with about 40 lbs of gear. Opened the door, 4 beds. Back down to reception. She said room was only booked for myself. Great, back up 3 flights of stairs. Remember at this point ive been up 24 hrs. Time for a nap. I laid on the bed. "rat-tat-tat-tat-tat" jackhammer in the courtyard below. I did manage a little sleep between the jackhammer and thunder storms. After my nap i hit the streets. I was surprised i remembered my way around, its been 12 years since my last visit. I know why i came back such a charming place. Yesterday i walked all over today I visit some sights. For dinner I ate at a restaurant next to the hostel, 1 lg beer, 1 small beer, calamari, & pasta with tomatoes, olive oil, and olives. 201kr or about $8, not bad! I better run, i'm at the hostel and there are about 5 people waiting to use the computer.

Just finished dinner after a big day of walking. It seems like i have walked all of Prague, east, west, north, and south. I even have the blisters to prove it. Some in places i did'nt know i could get blisters! I had to go to the druggeire & buy bandaids. The big event of the day was climbing the tower near the Prague castle. It has quite the view. I only wish the weather was better. Its been mostly cloudy with the occasional shower. At the moment its a downpour.

Today the city center was more crowded than yesterday. I would guess that tourism is a *huge* industry. Its funny to see all the tour groups, I've started calling them lemmings, they all follow the leader. The leader almost always hold some long item, high over their head so the lemmings can see them. Sometimes its their country flag, a pole with a ribbon, today umbrellas were popular. There was a asian group and the leader had a microphone with a speaker on her chest broadcasting the tour.

Hopefully i will be able to post pics in a day or two! Stay tuned!
