An epic 14 hour, 900km drive to Mackay today. Did have a couple of short breaks but I was totality exhausted when I settled down for a sleep this evening. The drive was really monotonous, not a lot to see along the way, that's why I just kept on driving. Airlie beach is now only 125km north after today's epic drive. I'll head into town early in the morning to book a trip to the Whitsunday islands and the Great Barrier Reef.
