Sleeping in a warm bed last night was so good, slept like a baby!
Had a lazy morning and then drove 160km north of Brisbane to Noosa Heads on the Sunshine coast. Haven't been in one traffic jam so far on my drive until today when trying to leave Brisbane. Bloody civilisation! On first appearances Noosa appears to be quite a swish resort town with trendy cafes and expensive boutiques, but the town has some beautiful beaches and a coastal national park too. Had a short walk in the National Park along the coast and a brief stroll around town. It was an overcast and rather chilly day with a strong sea breeze but still warmer than a typical British summers day.
