Another long drive through the peaks of the Pilbara to the awesome Karijini National Park. Only passed through two towns on the road today to reach my final destination, Paraburdoo and Tom Price.
Had to do some more dirt track driving this afternoon, drove around 100km on these very bumpy corrugated tracks to visit the different gorges in Karijini. I visited Joffre, Knox and Kalamina gorges. Walked down to the bottom of Knox gorge, on a steep rocky trail which required a bit of scrambling. Beautiful reflections of the sheer cliff walls and trees in the still waters as I strolled through the narrow gorge system, it's like a lost world down here.
Myself and the car are now covered in fine red dust from the dirt track which gets absolutely everywhere. The inside of the car is completely covered too and all my stuff
A big Dingo trotted past my car as I was having a cigarette this evening, didn't take any notice of me just went on it's merry way. First Dingo I've seen, and it was bloody big beast. I really didn't expect them to be so large. Quickly smoked my ciggy and got back in the car rather sharpish. Didn't want the Dingo to come back with it's mates.

. I'm staying in the national park tonight at the Dales camp site, the first time I've had to fork out for camp fees so far on my hobo adventure. When I arrived at camp I attempted to clean the inside of car. Think I'll be finding red dust for days on all my stuff and in various pockets and nooks in the car.A big Dingo trotted past my car as I was having a cigarette this evening, didn't take any notice of me just went on it's merry way.
