Day 135 - 06/07/08

Caught the TurboJet boat back to Hong Kong Island early this morning after being rudely awoken by mosquito's furiously biting me. So i thought sod this, I'm getting out of Macau! Also after losing cash at the Casino last night I thought it would be financially prudent to leave quickly, before being lured back into the casino to try and win back the money I lost. Would be a dangerous move to stay another night.

After arriving back on Hong Kong Island I caught the metro to Kowloon and decided to stay at the Mirador Mansions again, but this time my room has a window overlooking Nathan road which is nice novelty. Of course, I had to pay more for the privilege.

Been watching the heavy rain falling for most of the day A busy Sunday afternoon!
A busy Sunday afternoon!
. Did go out for a few hours in the afternoon to buy a travel guide for Korea. Going to do a bit of research today before flying to Seoul the day after tomorrow.
Been a nice relaxing day today. This evening I went out and bought myself some Japanese curry rice and chicken, a couple of Corona's, some chocolate and watched the Wimbledon men's tennis final in my room. Certainly a lazy Sunday, but nice for a change.

Day 136 - 07/07/08

Mirador Mansions where I'm staying is a pretty diverse place, Africans, Indians, Chinese, the occasional European, ladyboys and probably the odd tryad occupy this building. An interesting and colourful place to stay, that's for sure. I think a ladyboy from Singapore who's staying a few rooms down has taken a shining to me, I better watch out and lock my door tonight.

Another lazy rainy day in Hong Kong, didn't feel compelled to do anything again due to the weather. It's like being stuck at home when it's raining at the weekend, all you can really do is watch TV, eat and read. It's been a nice relaxing couple of days to recharge the batteries before moving on to Korea.
