Visited a laundry first, I know that sounds weird but when you realise the laundry is 1.5km long and all the clothes are hand washed by men it's quite a scene. Most of the cities washing is done in this massive complex. Then drove down to the Jain temple, where there was a Hindu festival taking place, the pilgrims where busy worshipping their gods in the temple, I was allowed in to take a look. A beautiful marble building with icons in every corner and bells being rung by the pilgrims. Then onto the hanging gardens, now these aren't like the hanging gardens of Babylon. This is where the Indian's hung criminals before India had a police force. It's now a sweet little park with great views of the city. Then my favorite place of the day, Gandhi's Mumbai residence, he lived here for 17 years, and it's now a museum to the great man
Meet an Israeli guy in a restaurant at lunch, had an interesting chat about the Palestinian troubles and what the Israeli's would accept as a resolution. He lives in Haifa so he had first hand experiences of the issues.
In the evening meet some guys and girls at the hostel and went for something to eat and a couple of beers. Paid just over a pound for a chicken dish, rice and a coke, bargain!
