Sat here again in Heathrow departures waiting for my over night flight to Mumbai the home of Bollywood. I'm planning to stay in Mumbai for 3 nights before I fly to Goa for some chill out time, will then move onto Gokarn and Jogg falls after a couple of days in Goa, get the feeling Goa is a little over commercialised these days. Gokarn is suppose to be like Goa was 20 years ago, still a traditional Indian resort with more locals than foreigners, I'll find out soon enough.
 
This phase of my travels is the biggie, won't be back home until 11th December. That's 293 days! A couple of friends and my Mum saw me off at the train station today. It was quite emotional knowing that you won't see you're family and friends for 10 months! Even when I get back i'll only be home for a week or two before I'm off again.
 
The first mission when I arrive in Mumbai is sort out some accommodation in the Colaba district. Ideally I would like to stay in the Red Shield Hostel, the only hostel in Mumbai. Not sure what the availability will be at such sort notice. Worse case, I have to book myself into a posh hotel for 3 nights, but posh hotels aren't a great place to meet like minded people. We'll have to see how it pans out.
