Now back in the UK , was welcomed to a beautiful sun rise over London on the Heathrow express into the city. Missed by train from Euston due to the scramble across London on the trains and tubes but managed to get the next train back to Macclesfield.
 
I have 6 days at home before phase 2 of my travels begin next Saturday with a flight to Mumbai and the wonderful and colourful Indian sub-continent.

the travel bug...
Well, after reading through your entries so far, I can safely say that you have rekindled the travel bug in me (and it hadn't really been extinguished!). The pictures look great, Alex and I are definitely going to have to visit Africa next...

Hi Guys,

I could defiantly recommend going to Africa and especially Tanzania. The people are great the landscapes are really beautiful and its pretty easy/cheap to get around, not to mention all the wildlife!

Kili is magnificent, but a relativity hard slog, the summit day is not easy but it's well worth it.

When I eventually go back to Africa the highlands of Ethiopia, Egypt and Uganda will be my next stops.
