The past couple of days I've just been chilling our in the Hostel and doing some reading that's me through me 9th book in just over a month not bad considering I was lucky if I read 2 books a year usually.

Today I met up with Emma to get a mobile phone as she has got herself a job in an Irish bar Molly Malone's maybe I should think about getting a job seeing as how I will probably be in Wellington for a month or so but to be honest I can't really be bothered as it feels as though I have just quit work a couple of weeks ago and I'm not ready to get back into it. What I will do though is speak to some agencies just to get a feel for what kind of work I would likely to be offered and more importantly how much cash there likely to pay.

After doing a bit of shopping Emma and I went to the pictures to watch the Island, not bad, better than walking about the pissing rain and howling wind.

Tonight I am going to be moving in with Keith's relative who lives here in Wellington her name is Margaret Paterson a lovely lady who made my dinner for me and who had a bedroom made up, its great to get a home cooked meal again and I'm looking forward to not being woken up during the night and early in the morning.

Since being away I've come to hate certain noises with a great passion especially the noise of zips and Velcro the most annoying noises to backpackers, that and squeaky metal bunk beds especially if you've got a right fatty sleeping above you, it even creaks when they blink, god help me if it ever collapsed.

I had a nice home cooked meal for me tonight which was great, I'm certainly enjoying this, I had a night in front of the telly just chilling out getting to know Margaret better before having an early night to catch up on some well deserved sleep. There is one thing about houses in NZ though they don't have any bloody central heating and my god it's freezing just sitting about, I have got pretty much half my clothes on that I brought away with me as it's honestly that cold sitting about the house, and when your in bed that's not much better, everything feels kind of damp although Margaret has put an electric blanket on my bed for me which she told me not to sleep with it on, only put it on to warm up the bed before I got in it, well I done as she said and woke up during the night like some frigging ice-pole so it was switched back on for the rest of the evening.
