Hello everyone. Things are getting easier for us everyday. We learn by trial and error and as the days go by we are slowly, but surely picking up on where to shop, dine, travel and the differences in culture. We started out buying our groceries at a discount store similar to say a dollar store in the states, but we found a very nice supermarket just down the street that speacializes in BIO, or organic food. Also, I am happy to say that we found a readily available dark beer that is quite good. We finally broke our streak of picking bad restuarants yesterday and found a very nice authentic italian place just accross from the rugby pitch. The dining experience here is a thrill in itself because of the differences from american dining. The waiters only come to the table when signaled to do so and the meals are meant to be long and drawn out, with pre and post meal beverages. There is no being hurried along so that they can open a table. Before the meal we had taken the s-bahn to an area south of our apartment and watched the first game of the rugby team I will play for. From what we saw it appaers that this is not very high level rugby and will be fun to be a part of. Well, that is it for now, but be sure to check in for more. Thanks for reading.
