What a pleasant awaking for us, looked out the window when I got up at 6am and it was snowing and was still snowing when we left Banff at 8am. It was cold - of course- and cloudy and we didn't really get a good view of Lake Louise but it was nice anyway.
We headed west, over Kicking Horse Pass, and enter the Columbia Mountains and Glacier National Park. Journeying through the temperate rainforest of Mount Revelstoke National Park, we arrive at our lodge, located on the shores of Little Shuswap Lake. Unfortunately on entering our room we discovered that it wasn't made up but they did remedy this. A Native Elder gave us a talk, more about him then anything else, but most was interesting. It was a lovely view from our room of the lake.
