We depart Shinagawa station bound for Hiroshima after changing trains in Osaka arriving at 12.30pm. After checking into the Granvia Hotel which was right next to the station we grabbed some lunch and decided to catch a taxi to the 'A' Bomb dome and Peace Park, taxi costing us $10 AU. We couldn't find where the trams were to catch them but later we found out that they were on the other side of the Hotel, the south exit. Took some photos of the 'A' bomb dome then walked over to the Peace Park Museum costing 50 cents AU to enter. It was very interesting but sad with many items of children's clothing on display, of course the children died but the families kept the clothing only to donate it to the Museum years later.
Caught a taxi back to the Hotel and went and had a noodle dinner local to the area.
