The train ride home (for me at least) was almost unbearable just because I was exhausted. And there was, again, no air conditioning for five hours of it. We did meet a very nice Czeck guy named Jan. He complimented my German when I practiced with him-- he said that I didn't have an American accent but a Slavic one. I'm not sure if that's exactly a compliment but I will take it and run.
When we finally rolled into Germany, the funniest thing was that we were so excited to leave a country where we couldn't speak the language to... a country where we couldn't speak the language. At least we can sort of hack through our conversations in German.
At home, we went to eat at this Chinese buffet. After spending three weeks in China, I and my stomach were not feeling the Austrian food that was masquerading as Chinese, but it was all right.
Now, time to study for my German quiz tomorrow and actually get a night of sleep. We, the Sassy Seven, totally won travel weekend.
