Thurs 3rd July

Sam: We booked ourselves into a converted jail last night and they've managed to keep up with the original decor, which is great. They've even kept one of the cells in it's original form with some amazing graffitti done by one of the last prisoners to stay at the prison, which closed in 1999.
    We spent today exploring Christchurch on a local tram and visiting Christchurch cathederal. We also managed to plan a bit more of NZ and realised how little time we have and how much we're doing in that time. We now move on from Christchurch tomorrow and head up to kiakoura, where we hope to do some whale watching

Can't believe how fast the time is going now and that you're in NZ already. Only a few more weeks and school and then 6 weeks off ya hooooo. Have got our school plays next week we're doing MSN Dream for the Egerton Music festival so no pressure!!!!!! It's still a bit shakey and we've only got one more rehearsal.
We're off to Cornwall on 26th July but will bring Soph back early August so we can pick you up when you get back Sam. Will talk to you nearer the time. Keep enjoying your travels and updating your pod it's great to read it all. Lots of love to you both. Mum xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
