Sat 7th.

Following a bout of food poisoning yesterday which involved a trip to the hospital and very unpleasant night, Christina was feeling ok again today... Mr Chamberlain, however, decided to hit the town with an Ozzy guy, Adam, staying at the hostel and is suffering from it today. Regardless, we had to make the 1hr train journey to Singapore as we had pre-booked accommodation.

Sun 8th

We spend 10 hours watching animals @ Singapore Zoo adn the Night Zoo... as the pics show we got a bit snap happy seeing especially animals we'd not seen before! Was good tho and their were tribal firedancers also.

Mon 9th June

As Sam wanted to see BAttle box museum and me indulge in a bit of browsing therapy we went our separate ways for the day. I headed for Bugas indoor a/c market, where i ended up leaving with a rather practical waterproof big handbag, and later bought a beautiful puirse - sorry Grant but that headhunter wallet has seen it's last day now, hehe. We met back at the hostel and headed to China Town food night market for some Satay chicken, mutton and pork - yummy.

Tues 10th

Bright and early we headed over to Sentosa Island by cabel car to admire the view. The Island is newly, and still being, developed for tourism. After booking tickets for the 'Sound of the Sea' show in the evening we headed for the beach. Sadly the water wasn't a patch on the Perhentian islands but the setting was lovely and we spend a few hours relaxing before deciding to head back to find some internet to catch up with emails ect and had another Austrian Pork cheese sausage and crusty roll with chilli sauce from the award winning Austrian guy in China town ... soo good :-p
We headed back to Sentosa Island to watch the SOund of the Sea show. Set on the beach, a water show upon which laser images were projected, to music, fire and acting a cheesy scinario where a shy, quiet guy discovered his beautiful voice had magical powers and woke the beautiful queen from her spell of sleep.   Did break several laughs.

Wed 11th June - and our last day in S.E. Aisa!!!!

Yep, today we're off to Australia!!!
Exciting! and are 1/2 way through our trip - wow!
Being keeno's we cought the 1st MRT @ 5.55 to the Changi Airpot, a 30 min ride. Having utilised the free internet and spent the last of our Singapore dollars on breakfast, we're ready to embark on the 7.5 hr flight to Sydney, where we should arrive early evening Sydney time, which is 9 hours ahead of UK time.

Speak to you all from OZ,

Lots of Love XxXxXxXxXxXxX
