HAPPY BIRTHDAY BILL
We some what begrudginly packed our bags and left the islands in the early hours having booked a bus to Cameron Highlands the night before. We caught the bus and had a 5 hour journey to the Highlands, arriving around early afternoon. We then booked ourselves into Daniels Guest House and vegged out in front of the t.v to watch one of Daniels 850 copied DVD's. In the evening we met up with some other travellers and decided to go for an Indian. Sam chose curry served on a banana leaf and Christina opted for a mild fish curry.
Tuesday 27th May
Today we had a relaxing day taking advantage of Daniels extremely cheap clothes wash facilities and internet, bliss. In the evening we chose to eat off a local stall, Christina went for Beef noodles whilst Sam chose Beef done in Safron.
Wednesday 28th May
Today we booked ourselves on a local tour of BOH tea plantation amongst other things. So at 9am we were picked up by our tour guide, Francis, and taken up to the highest point in the Cameron Highlands (6,666ft) with another couple in a 4x4. Francis then gave us a tour of Mossy forest, explaining all the different health advantages of each plant. We even discovered the 'Deep Heat' plant. After the Mossy forest we then went on a tour of the tea plantation
