Today I met up with Sara, a new CSer, and new in town in Washington DC, and we went through a couple of museums.  First, we visited the Air and Space Museum, which is always fun, checking out the cool stuff about the universe, and the different types of air and spacecraft.  Then we visited the Museum of Natural History, and saw lots of bones, stuffed animals and diamonds...

By then we were pretty worn out, so we went and had some lunch nearby, and rested for a bit.  Afterwards, before she headed back home, we stopped by the president's house, and then we said goodbye.

The rest of the afternoon, I first visited the American History Museum, which I still had a bit to see.  I was there until 5.30pm, when they kick everyone out.  Then I walked towards the memorials and monuments.

The first I visited was the Jefferson Memorial, which I had never gone to before, and it was quite nice.  Similar to the Lincoln Memorial, but round, and with a huge, standing monument of Jefferson.  Then I walked by the Washington Monument, on the way to the Lincoln memorial.  Always taking pictures along the way.. :)

I was able to get some nice night shots, with longer exposueres and my mini tripod, and then I walked several blocks to get to the metro (subway) stop, and then, after arriving at my stop, walked a few more blocks back home.

My feet are super tired, and I hope to rest tomorrow, I'll just walk whatever is needed to the metro stops, and then ride the bus back to NYC tomorrow, and hopefully just rest a bit...  poor feet, hehe... I walked a looot today...  Letīs see what I do during my last weekend in NYC and the united states, before heading off to Germany and Europe on Tuesday... :)

Querido Chris
