I went walking today from Rosaly's house (my CS host) to Ibipoera (or however you spell it) park, about an hour walk away. On the way I stumbled upon The Church of Nossa Senhora de Brasil (or something like that), which was really nice (as usual, I'm a sucker for Churches) with beautiful tiles and art.
The park itself was ok. I didn't think it was nothing super wow, as everyone had said, but I did really enjoy the African-Brasilian Museum, which had an amazing collection of African and African-Brasilian history and artifacts. I spent a good hour or two walking around the amazing collection, and then started walking around the park and heading back to the apartment.
After having walked about 5 or 6 hours, I bought me a nice bottle of coke, and was sipping on it, with a nice glass of ice, and some chocolate. Yum. Then I've been relaxing a bit, watching some Bill Maher and what not on my lappy. Now I might call some friends in Sao Paulo and maybe do something around town... till' next time.

IBIRAPUERA
