So finally, around 8 am or so, after battling with Sao Paolo's crazy
rush hour traffic (which we would have avoided if it weren't for the
lady at the Brasilian border check), I arrived to the bus station.
After checking some departure times and prices for Rio (I'm taking the
midnight bus for about 60 Reais (30 USD) ), and calling my host here,
Rosaly, I took the metro... the really, really crowded metro (with my
huge backpack) to Rosaly's station, walked a couple of blocks, and here
I am.
Now I've been relaxing for a little bit, even though I rested pretty
well on the bus; I had the two seats to myself, which went back quite a
bit. Still, even though it's about the best I've slept on a bus, I'm
still pretty tired. I'll probably go walk to a museum which is supposed to be not too super far away. Then I'll just come back, and relax for the afternoon, before taking the other bus (yay) tonight.
But... tomorrow Rio awaits... let's hope the weather is ok!

Hola Christian,
qué bueno que todo fue bien, un poco lentito pero así son las grandes ciudades lamentablemente. Estoy segura que vas a pasar unos días bonitos e interesantes en Brasil. Saludos a Rosaly y Bruno!!
