Ok, have started the packing process, not too involved, as I'm only taking 1 weeks worth of clothes, and a laundry bag. I ordered 4 pairs of pants from Lands' End. They're already at my sister's house so all I have to do is pick them up. Oh, and the machete my Mom's making me take.*Rolls Eyes* I'll probably end up using it for something and therefore validate her nagging. At least I can leave it in the car for the next trip.

I have a 9 am appointment for the Van to get looked over the morning after I arrive, change hoses, belts, oil, and Tranny fluid. Basically give the car a good going over.

I'm getting excited now, there's only two more nights and I'm gone.

 First with the fallout from Alma and now Arthur, we've gotten a LOT of rain since Friday, Heliconias turning GREEN

 It was at 6 & 1/2" last night, I haven't checked today, but from the creek, Water in the "creek"

 I'd say we got at LEAST 2 more inches overnight.
