Quepos/Manual Antonio was our last stop in Costa Rica, and our base for our Canopy Tour, and our Canyoning Trip. Canopy Tour seems to be an invention of Costa Rica's. It is basically ziplining through the tree tops. It was great fun, and highly recommended. The best part was the "Express Repelling". This is where you trust that the Tico at the bottom of the rope to pull on it just before your free fall hits the ground. It was a little nerve racking, but after the first one it was lots of fun. The canyoning trip was climbing and repelling up and down a waterfall. We had a private trip, and got to do about twice as much as you would typically do on the trip. We had dabbled in some indoor rock climbing before, but getting on some actual rock was quite the experience. There is more to Manual Antonio though, and we spent our remaining time here relaxing on a perfect beach. It's time to catch the bus (direct) back to San Jose.
