It was a fairly relaxed drive to Golden, we stopped on the way at De Dutchmans Dairy and sampled the delights of their icecream. 

We then headed through more beautiful landscape to Golden, where we spent just one night.  We did a little shopping in their stores (there weren't many) and we had dinner in a pizza place across the road.  Samantha enjoyed her drink on her lap here. 

The next morning we Hit the road and headed for Calgary via lake Louise.  Lake Louise was spectacular and we would recommend it to anyone.  It is a glacial lake with an amazing colour and nestled in a very scenic spot.

Hi everyone, Lake Louise looks beautiful. I've never spent any time in Canada except for a short business trip to Toronto more than ten years ago.

What other places will you be stopping in before reaching Chicago?
