Where I stayed
We then carried on to Flagstaff, passing Munds Park and collecting some supplies. We met with our hosts Don and Laura, who were sadly heading off for a few days so this was our only chance to meet them. They were really lovely and we hope to get a chance to get to know them better in New Zealand in the future. We ate a quick dinner and then headed to Munds park as we were all pretty shattered. What a Beautiful home, in a truly peaceful setting, just what we needed! We slept soundly and the next day enjoyed a lot of relaxing and just hanging out as well as the mundane task of sorting through luggage and getting a bit organised, and an opportunity for the kids to get some school work done
The next day we headed our early to Sedona as we were booked to go on a Pink Jeep tour. Once again our expectations were exceeded, this was amazing fun and what an incredible place. We headed back stopping for brunch on the way and came home to get some school work done. Oh yay the children cried!
Chris and the girls went horseriding one morning through the forest. Zack and I did the shopping, you decide who had the best end of the deal. Then we went on to the Meteor Crater, very cool, especially as a wind storm came through and it was wild.!
Now off to Grand Canyon, still scouring the sides of the road for the ellusive elk.
