We headed over to ko phi phi on a ferry full of fellow travelers. I fell in love with the place almost imediatly. After being in patong it was a nice releif to be amongst so many travelers and so when we eventually found a hostel that weasnt full after a good trek around we settled into a funky little room just off the beach. We had a few nights in ko phi phi meeting lots of cool people seing some amazing fire shows and having a laugh. On our second and final night we saw a proper mui thai (thai boxing) fight. Probably the best sport ever invented, although it is a bit cringworthy it is amazing at the same time. From what we saw i couldnt work out if there are any rules, I saw fighters get knocked out cold and carry on fighting, in the fight we watched one of the fighters got thrown out of the ring landing on his back, then after a rest he got back up and won the fight. As that was our last night partying in thailand we now have a day in Phuket town where we are staying in a hostel that leonardo di caprio stayed in in the film the beach. Then we are flying to singapore with a day stop off before we go to bali.
