I am just so incredibly behind with my blogs that I think I am going to have to start condensing.  I plan to mark our stops on the map and post a few photos but only cover some of the highlights now.  Which is a shame but life on the road is hard work! We have certainly seen some very cool and wonderful things, and I'm not looking for sympathy (nor will I get any, I know)  but constantly moving from one destination to another as well as being exciting, is tiring!  It's hard to find the time to write, or read, or do nothing! Because there isn't any time to do those things.

We returned to San Diego from our Hawaiian retreat.  Seems like a cool place but the skies were grey and full of cloud and the temperatures were cooler than anything we'd got used to lately! It's fantastic to be in the sun, I feel content and healthy, and I don't know how I will adapt to the UK climate again!   The thought doesn't fill me with joy I have to say.  We only stayed a couple of days in San Diego, Kevin spent a whole day visiting The USS Midway aircraft carrier that served in the United States for 47 years and is now a floating "museum".  He couldn't get over the sheer size of it, and it has real jets and planes on the flight deck that you can actually go into.  He absolutely loved it and was in boy heaven for a day.
