We spent a day in Fethiye on a small boat cruising around some islands a bays.

We staked-out a wonderful spot on the roof that got sun as well as shade.

The boat stopped at a cave for our first swim of the day, which was freezing - we both had goosebumps but it was fun to swim into the cave and visit the beach at the far end.

The next stop was Butterfly Valley which is apparently full of butterflies. We saw one, but it was a lovely walk up the valley to a waterfall which we stood under. We then walked back to the boat and had another swim before we headed across the bay for lunch (yummy chicken and rice) followed by another swim.

After lunch we headed to Saint Nicholas Island to visit some Byzantine ruins. Hana walked to the top of the hill which had amazing 360 degree views. Another swim followed this.

We then went to Camel Beach for more swimming and a cold spring. After being in the cold spring the sea while swimming back to the boat felt like a spa! While we were there two of the staff jumped off the 25m high cliffs surrounding the bay. One of the other tourists also jumped but from a slightly lower height. Apparently she was the first female jumper the captain has seen in 20 years!

The waterways amazingly clear at every swimming spot, often it looked like the bottom was only a few cm from the surface but once you were in it was incredibly deep with fishes swimming below you!
