I've returned to San Jose and am trying to work out the plan for the next week.  It's bit up in the air as next week is Semana Santa (Easter) which is a major holiday over here.  This means that the buses are either full or not running and the hotels are full or pretty close to it.  I was planning on going to Panama City and working my way back but the buses are booked up for the next five days!

Plan B is a trip to Puerto Viejo.  Again this is busy.  I have been offered a hammock for $15 a night instead of the usual $5 but I think I'll skip that.

Instead I'm off to near by Cahuita.  If all works out then I'll make my way into Panama via the Caribbean coast.  And if all goes to pot then I guess I'm sleeping on the beach ;-)
