I seriously doubt if its the original as its in excellent condition but you never know -- i have been told to never ever assume! The 'burning bush' is nicely trimmed and hedged - people touch it and pray and lodge notes in the base...all religious stuff i guess..
Also in the middle is a small church that holds heaps of those smelly churchy things that the priests or altar boys waft down the aisle ... was interesting for about 5 minutes. All of us were done looking an about 15 mins (not much to look at really) - so we partially climbed the mountain in front to take a photo of the huge complex...
after this we made our way in the van for the 1 1/2 hr trip to Nuweiba - our driver doing record speed.!
Arriving at Sawa camp we were all very happy with what was in front of us... We each had a small individual hut with just a mattress and a mozzie net - pretty much all you need here. We sat down for lunch, a vegetable tagen for me, then proceeded to chill out. Swimming, reading, sleeping, talking and doing nothing was great.
I had a huge nanna nap from about 6-8pm and made my way to the common area for dinner - lucky they take your meal order at any time of the day! More chill out then Wahid and I took a walk down the beach and looked for crabs - heaps of the little critters! They scurry back in the water and bury themselves... Its lovely and warm here - loving it.! Must be the sea air as i was tired again - probably from doing not a lot - I pulled out my sleeping sheet and opened my window and went to sleep..
