Another nice sleep in (too much TV last night) and I had brekky around 10am again.  While i was fluffing around in my room a fight broke out in the park opposite between i think a shop-man and a couple of kids, one of them was holding a broken bottle then the kid started to throw rocks and finally about 10 people intervened and another fight nearly broke out .... told you -- quality area!
I retreated again to the safety of the basement and the internet and discovered that one of the computers had a drive that i could put my Turkish CD in -- I then put a whole heap of photos on the F/Book website and spend over 2 hours mucking around -- loving the free internet.   Before too long it was time to venture outside and head to the bank to change some travelers cheques.  I did this at the Credit du Maroc but he didn't have the 50 Euros that i needed for the local payment for my trip.   I was pointed in another direction so i walked down the street and went into another bank that said 'Change' sunset over Casablanca

.  Still i was wrong but this time the employee directed me to the security man so he could take me to the right place.  It ended up being the small shopkeeper who sold the chocolates and drinks.   Euro's aren't apparently available here so I had to buy them on the black market for a small fee ... very funny stuff!
I then cruised across the road into the medina (old town) where there were a few shops and stalls.  I bought some DVD's from a few different stalls - nothing else was really noteworthy I wandered the backstreet's for a little before popping out on the main road again.   I made my way to see the Central market which was pretty boring - nothing seemed to be open and I think a lot of people are taking a 4 day weekend - don't blame them.   I went back to the hotel (Casablanca doesn't really have much of a tourist -- its more business) and read my book before dropping into a nanna.
At about 6 I went to find some food but most things were shut -- I did find my new hotel though which I am moving into tomorrow... I resorted to KFC chips and a McDonalds sprite in the end.   Back to the hotel -- it was a really good sunset so I took some pics of the minaret of the huge mosque that I could see in the distance.   I went back down to the basement and worked on my F/Book photos adding descriptions then it was back to the room to chillax with the book and the 8.30 movie...
