Oh, time to catch up! We left Morgan Hill, leaving behind our friends (heavy sigh) we had met thru the NVC (non violent communication) program I am participating in. Through the nine month program, I've kept in communication with this group of friends via email. We haven't seen each other since family camp in August so being able to sit, have tea and hug so met my need for companionship, love, support and friendship for both Isa and myself.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with Tivo, Ann, Robyn, Marisol and Paloma plus all of Tivo's family. We came back to the RV park Friday and joined many of the friends we had made at the RV park for a huge day after Thanksgiving meal.
That weekend was also Marisol's robot birthday party so we partied on, making cupcakes doing the robot dance. Although, no one could do the robot dance quite as good as Ann.
By Monday we were both exhausted and by Tuesday we were on to Pescadero.  Every time we move I ask myself why I'm leaving, what is it I want that I'm not getting here. In Morgan Hill there was too much city.. too much noise and the weather was beginning to change.
Costanoa is a magical, beautiful place, it is on the coast twenty miles north of Santa Cruz. At night, with the window open and the night air blowing in, the sounds of the oceans surf permeated our little home. We were lulled to sleep by the oceans roar.
There were few people there, but our neighbors were a couple from Saulsilito traveling in their  little version of Chimeranda. It was a sixteen foot Airstream, for the first time we were the huge ones! They were on their way to Mexico and filled my mind with all sorts of possibilities for the future. Good travels Tracey and Evan!
We were blessed with a visit from our dear friend from Corvallis, Sally and her dog Skye. That was such a treat. We played at the beach, soaked in the hot tub and biked on the paths. Instead of playing bingo or crocheting toilet roll covers Sally is hard at work creating a natural bug repellent. I think she said she got the basics for the recipe from a woman in the jungles of Belize. I had the chance to share some thoughts with her. It was so fun. I'm so excited for her....
Isabelle made a huge leap biking, she finally overcame her fear and got on the tag along. It is a bike that is attached to my bike so we can ride together. Now she loves it, it is the only thing she ever wants to ride! I love it because it gives me much more freedom, I can ride farther, she gets as much exercise as she wants and I get more exercise.
As the weather started to get worse we decided to drift on up the coast to Morro Bay. It is a little spot by San Luis Obispo. Some friends we met at a campsite told us about Morro Bay so we decided to check it out.
