Getting back to lower altitude, we arrived in Sucre. This city is way nicer from its neighbour Potosu and people getting rich from the silver used to live there. Then, there are nice buildings everywhere that make the place good for sightseeing. Nonetheless, we arrived on Friday night so we started the night life after partying till late stopping in three bars. There were a lot of tourists and we had fun. On the second day, we visited the main squares and walked all the way to the parque San Martin where Andrés and Nico had a quick ride on quads and karts. There was also a tower similar to the Eiffel tour. It did not make feel like I was in Paris though. From the city center, we took a bus to the castillo de la glorieta. It looked quite fake and we did not really like it. We finished our day at the recoleta, a good mirador with some cakes. Saturday is wedding's day in Bolivia. Then, we saw brides and grooms all day long around the city with their photographer.
On Sunday, we relaxed. I visited the museum in Sucre and learnt about Bolivian independence. Bolivar and San Martin are the two national heroes in this country. In the afternoon we went to Tarabuco to see the market. There were heaps of goods to buy which my travel buddies happy. We could see the traditions of the village, its food and clothing. Long time ago, this people kicked out the conquistadors, before taking out their heart.
On monday, I said good bye to Nico who decided to go back to Tupiza for some San Pedro experience and took the bus to Cochabamba by night. Andrés left the night before so I will meet him there. The trip was terrible on a rocky road with too much heating. That's Bolivia.
