First stop in Bolivia: Tupiza. We decided with Andrés and Nico to get our tour to the famous "Salar de Uyuni" from this town which is nicer than Uyuni itself. We spent a lot of time at the tour agency to get good prices and finally got it. Maybe being funny in the office everyday helped. Waiting to leave, we had time to visit the canyons around the city and to meet some Tupiceños at the pub on our last night. This new country is full of surprises and I slowly discover it. At the market we got some bits of Bolivian life, tasting rellenos de papa, api, granadilla,... On our second day, I went to the feria (market) on the early morning where you can find absolutely anything. I felt like an E.T. in the middle of this faces so different to mine. I am also way to tall and have to crouch to go through the market. Kids look at me in a peculiar way. It seems I am different.
