Last day in Argentina, we crossed the border once to visit Villazón. It is almost a city of Argentina, everyone gives you the price in Argentine pesos and it looks like a big market. At noon, we got our backpack and officially crossed the border. It was messy but thanks to Andrés we went through it a bit faster. We had our first Bolivian lunch which was very cheap and then headed to the train station to reach Tupiza.
After a long wait on a lost road in the desert, I arrived in La Quiaca. Walking to my hostel, I crossed roads with Andrés and Nicola, my new travel buddies met in Tílcara. It's good o see faces you know and we went to have dinner in the street. We had to wait till Wednesday to take the train from Villazón, just on the other side of the border with Bolivia. Then, on Tuesday, we went to Yavi, a small village 16 km from La Quiaca. We started to walk it, watching the landscape in the area, but after 9 km, we stopped a car, tired. Yavi looked like a ghost town. However, we find a small restaurant with a hippy guy who served us good food. Then, we visit the village looking for something nice to see but could not find the caves. When we decided to go back in town, there were no car to give us a ride. We waited till late and packed in a car with seven more persons.
