After 3 great days in Monteverde, it was time to move on. To Manuel Antonio this time, a popular beach town with a National Park closeby. I had heared that the beaches there were very beautiful, but the park is a bit disapointing. The beaches were indeed maybe the nicest i have ever seen, with much jungle forest to the sides and behind them. Although the park was not that great (because of the many tourists walking around), it was cool to see squirel monkeys for the first time. There are in fact only 1500 of these monkeys left and they only live in the southwest of Costa Rica. You can also see many three-toed sloths and coatis around. Overall, it was very relaxing spending a couple of days in Manuel Antonio. I met two very cool English travelers there, Tom and Hilary.
