Left Tarbert with mixed feelings of sadness to be leaving and relief at getting away.Given a starting signal by Ian and Ann Page at 10.40 this morning and proceeded in cold but reasonably dry weather - SNOW on the tops on Arran - to Troon seeing the Waverly en route and arrived in Troon at 16.40. Monty settled in his bed abd stayed there all trip apart from 2 walks around the deck.

Hi the two of you!

See your progressing. Hope Monty's ok.

Series went well - 191 entries. Lots of wind. First day was very, very damp with no wind but since then it's been fairly bright and sunny. Noise from the tent is bearable (just). Harbour wall caved-into the harbour at the site of the old pumping station 'dearie me'.

Will keep you informed. Hope to be in Madeira by end of September.
