Well, we are sitting in the British Airways lounge at Heathrow. We've been here for six hours now, but it hasn't really been that bad. Luckily, since we are flying business class, we've had access to the American and British Airways lounges in JFK and Heathrow. It truly does make a difference... Free drinks, food, showers, even a free spa treatment ( Kristi got a facial) - it helps to break up the time. However, we are both beat already. Neither of us slept much at all on the flight from JFK. We thought for sure that business seats would do the trick, but no go. Well, it will just help us to sleep when we finally get to Cairo tonight at 11:30pm which will be 4:30pm Chicago time.
