Hi Everybody, day 2 on the road. The weather has been fantastic and our ride has been uneventful to this point. We stayed in Miamisburg OH last night. We visited an ancient Indian Burial site first thing this morning in Miamisburg. It was 103 stairs from Ground level to the top of the burial Mound. The site is estimated to have been started as a burial ground by the Natives 1800 B.C.
We arrived at Mike's brothers house in White House TN today at around 3:30 er.. 2:30 this afternoon, sorry I forgot we've entered the "ELVIS" time zone. Mike & I spent about an hour and a half servicing the bike's after our arrival. We changed the oil in both bikes today as Mike has noticed that his motorcycle is burning oil.( a little scary considering it has less than 7500 km's on it)
After servicing the motorcycles we found ourselves with not much to do so we did what all motorcyclist do with spare time- yep we went for a ride. We headed to Hendersonville to check out the burial site of Johny Cash. It was a fantastic ride as we left all of our gear at the house and after almost 1500 km's of super slab highway we had twisties! My spirits are high and we are having a great time.
Our plan is to ride the Natchez trace trail tomorrow down into Jacksonville.
