I got the train in to the city where I was meeting a friend Monti who I worked with in London met up with her and went back to her flat as she was putting me up for a few days,
We decided to go for a Japanese for dinner and it was hilarious the little bloke was cooking in front of us then he chucked the food at you and was lobbing plates at us he was a total nut job but it was a good laugh.
My first proper day in Sydney I thought that I better go and check out the Harbour Bridge and the Opera house so I went to the harbour and did just that, I actually walked across the bridge and I have to say that it was not that exciting at all I thought bloody hell this is a long walk how long till I get to the end so I charged down the bridge with my ipod blaring out finally got to the bottom and had a walk around looked at the Opera house took some pictures and did the same with the bridge, I have to say that as I was looking at the Opera house I did think it would not hurt someone to give it a bit of a paint up looked a bit dirty and old if you ask me,
My second day I wanted to check out the city so I went and had a look around all the shops and for some mad reason decided to book myself a sky dive,
I then went up to Manly beach and it was a really nice beach although the weather was not that sunny it was nice to lay on the beach and watch the surfers surfing.
On the Sunday it was time to hit the beach as it was boiling hot so I headed up to Palm beach which is the home of Home & Away and I can see why they choose that beach as it was one of the best beaches that I have seen not over rammed with people plenty of space and a great sun trap for a great tan, I see Alf's surf club got my self an ice cream from there and had an amazing day catching the rays.
On the Monday I decided that my tan was looking quite good so another day of bathing in the park was called for before the next day was the day that I was gunna be chucking myself out of the door of a 14000ft moving plane.
The morning had arrived and to be honest I was not feeling nervous about the sky dive at all just felt really tired as I was up at 5.30am to get the coach that picking me up at 7.00am I got to the coach and got chatting to all the others that were on the way to sky dive as well, As we arrived at the sky dive place they told us which plane we was getting and I was on the 1st plane so I had to get myself in the harness and off we went to the plane, im the best of flyers in fact I can not stand flying being on a big plane is bad enough but them horrible little ones they are so bouncy I can not stand them, as we all got on to the plane I started feeling sick I was 4th to jumps so I was at the back of the plane as the plane was reaching the point where we jump I just felt so sick I think that I went green,
the first guy had jumped and then the 2nd person jumped and then the 3rd person, FUCK im next I was thinking so as I moved to the door the captain said the next two jump will be in 7mins as they had to turn the plane around so that we was in the correct landing spot so there I am on my knees at the door just looking out and all I wanted to do was spew and im telling you that 7 mins felt like 7 hours I was just there at the bloody door wanting to get out and do the dive and as I was thinking that I was launched out the door and in the middle of my free fall, I really can not tell what that felt like they only way I can describe it is "AMAZING" my whole body was spinning about all over the place I must have done more back flips falling out of that plane than Sporty Spice did on tour it was crazy,
The worst part was when the parachute was open as apart of your harness loosens and I though that I had come un-done and was falling but no that never happened did it? The glide to landing was amazing gliding over the beach seeing the clear blue sea and the white sand it was fantastic,
My next couple of day I wanted to make the most of the sun as I was robbed of it in Melbourne I wanted to make the most of it so I layed out in Hyde Park which was great plus I had moved in to a Hostel by now and it was only around the corner from where I was staying so that was good.
The hostel that I booked in to was great it was full of young people and had a great laugh and met loads of people, we decided to do the Coogee beach to Bondi beach walk it was great and we had such a laugh.
I have to say that I have totally enjoyed my time in Sydney it's been great and will hold loads of memories that I will be able to remember forever,
And now it's time for me to move on to my next stop which is Hawaii,
And talking of American's you have no idea how excited I am right now to be heading to the USA,
See Y'all Stateside!
