Tager Safari
Following on from a sun soaked week in Diu, we hit the road once more, making a bee-line for a Hill Station at Mt Abu on the Gujarat-Rajasthan Border. We were counting the months, then the weeks, but its now only a matter of days before we exit India, for an inevitably more sedate place, any-place! We will be working our way as far north as possible over the next 2 days, before taking a train (with) bikes back to the start at Mumbai. We hope to cover Amritsar, and do some mountain riding, around the many hill stations of Himanchal Pradesh. Here at Sasan Gir we went on a Tiger-less safari, which was v. enjoyable all the same. The temp is also heating up here in the north, will increase 4 degrees by the end of the wek to 39-40. We will have plenty of morning and evening rides over the next while, other wise we'll be COOKED ALIVE!
