Hello again!
So, tomorrow we set off to Gilroy, California, to visit Charlotte's Aunt Francis.
For the past week or so we've been living it up, practically a life of luxury in our little apartment, compared to what we've been used to! Mostly, this has been down to food! We've managed to consume, Chinese, Pizza, Pasta, Tad's Steak, Cakes, Coffee's with mounds of cream, Cookies, Cakes, Chocolate, Fudge, Bagels, Noodles, Cakes, a trace of fruit, and very nearly a vegetable! And a Cake.
And, somehow, we've managed to stay in relatively good condition - maybe it's the famous San Francisco hills!!
We've had some great panoramic (excuse the dire spelling, after so many unacademic months our brains are nothing but mush!) views of this great city thanks to some glass elevators, those good old hills, and North Beach's Coit Tower!
The other day we went to see a film called 'The Hills Have Eyes', I don't know if that's out in the UK yet, but I reccomend going to see it if you like nightmares. How disturbing - one of the scenes makes you wanna get up and leave. But don't think it's too scary or it'll spoil it and you might not enjoy it so much!!
Anyway, our time in North Beach is nearly over, as there's no room here at this lovely hostel when we get back from Gilroy, so we'll be staying near Union Square - shopping galore!! Mum, help me watch that bank balance!!!!
Anyway, we'll put up some more photos now, keep the e-mails coming!
