We decided to sleep in and then head to Jardin Nelson for breakfast.  The sausage and cheese crepe I had was absolutely amazing.  In fact, it pretty much screamed perfection.  We sat on the terrace over looking Old Montrel, and savored it all.  From there our contentment only grew as we took in the Notre Dame Cathedral.  The church is breath taking and drew me in to prayer and thanksgiving to my God.  The colors were rich and the architecture was designed with care.  The whole place brought a feeling of depth and intentionality.  It now ranks as one of our favorite churches.

From there we headed downtown to do a bit of shopping.  Since we thought we were going to cold, rainy Dublin we did not bring in clothes for the sunshine or the lake trip we were hoping to take.  We picked up a few items, yet it seemed to take much longer than a few minutes.  Montreal has millions of stores, all connected with underground walkways, so there was lots to try on.  We tried to limit ourselves to just what we needed to get by, they have 15% tax in Montreal, and high prices to begin with.  We were successful in our purchases.

Since we never seem to make it to the movies at home, we enjoyed a movie and then called it a night.  We would head to Mount Tremblant tomorrow.
