Noosa you beautiful place! The hostel was cool especially the layout. We checked in to Nomads Noosa and stayed kn a 14 bed dorm - the biggest since we started travelling. The people seemed nice but with just a few fans it was absolutely boiling in there! We met a Irish guy which has been travelling for te last 10 months. It was good to share stories and he was pretty hilarious.

We bumped in pacsille, a girl we met in Sydney so was nice to see a familiar face. We had a quick freshen up and headed to the bar for our welcome drink. It doesn't take you long when travelling to work out everything equals money so when something is free you grab it with both hands!

Since we were heading on our Fraser tour the next morning we had to have a meeting to go through the next two days itinerary . We met Banksey our tour guide and the people who would be on tour with us. We signed our lives away an charlie 2 and I put our names down to do some driving.

We decided to have a early night since we had to up and ready for 7am.

We all met up the next morning rating to go. The weather didn't look to promising but we all hoped it would brighten up later. One thing we were expecting is for us to be told we had to drive from the hostel to Rainbow beach to catch the ferry which was just under a 3 hour drive!

Jasper one of the lads in our car said he would drive which was cool as we all chickened out. There is one thing driving on Fraser where there is nothing to really hit but on the main road i wasn't sure if i was ready to do that especially since i wanted to keep my $100 deposit!

Now Jasper had never driven on the left hand side of the road so driving there was an experience in it self. I am not the beat passenger but kept my cool every time he nearly drove us into a ditch. However i don't think the others were too impressed. Michael took over half way and was a lot better and got us to Rainbow beach in one piece.

We had a quick stop off to take pictures of the view of Fraser island and a group picture of us and the cars before it was my turn to get behind the wheel.

Now everyone who knows me well will know i bloody hate driving and do it because its the easiest way to get from A to B so getting behind the wheel was bloody scary. Another thing is i don't like having people in the car and last but by no means least i have been driving a tiny Ka for the past two years an now i was sat behind Leo the Lion, a big massive 4WD!

So i got over it and just listened to Banksey and everything he told me and pulled away smoothly an followed him to the ferry. Had a few problems at first, driving off road and on soft sand is very different to driving on a main road and the car makes so much noise and sounds like its about to blow up! Also you only really use second and third gear which you think would make it easier but getting it in third gear was just down to luck! I made it to the ferry before realising i still had the handbrake on! Well done Moles!

I managed to get it on and off the ferry in one piece and didn't get it stuck in the soft sands which was meant to be quite tough (check me out!). Getting to camp was about a hour away and we had to use the off road tracks since the sand was too soft and it makes it much harder and takes longer to drive in. The off road tracks were awesome! I feel for Leo the lions tyres as it is full of rocks and stones and the road is so uneven it was like being on a roller coaster for a hour. I was following the other car which was causing all the dust in the air so seeing where you were going was just a lucky guess. We made it to base camp after cruising the sands which was miles and miles of untouched sands. the views were lovely. we dumped our stuff and grabbed some lunch.

Base camp was cool. All of our lunch was prepared for us (wraps) which was good to have some decent food - yes wraps are considered decent food when travelling!

I did some more off road driving to central station where we stopped off and went for a walk through the forest. We saw a tree which another tree had grown around. It would eventually kill the tree and become its own tree. The stream running through was so clear and the views were incredible.

We bumped into a dingo which was stealing good from a car which had left there window open by accident.

We headed to a lake which was 100m above sea level and was stunning. We spent a few hours there and chilled in the sun. After we got an ice cream we stopped off on the beach to take some Group pictures check out the views and the sunset. we soon headed back to camp for some grub.

After dinner it was goon time so we all gathered an got on the goon whilst playing some drinking games. There was another group next day so we soon popped over and all mingled together. After 10pm hit we had to keep the noise down so we all headed to the beach. We had a few drinks and a singalong on the beach. We went for a dip and chatted away. It was quite windy and pitch black and with a log day ahead we decided to get some sleep.

The next morning we were up bright and early and ready for another day of cruising the island and checking out all the amazing things. I got another chance to drive Leo along the sands which was incredible. We stopped off at the pinnacles which was a big reddy brown mountain where we had pictures taken. Next we charlie 2 finally plucked up the courage and drove to the shipwrecked.

The shipwrecked was pretty awesome to see a the story behind it. What made it better was the fact that within the next 10 years it is more than likely that it wont be there due to it rotting and breaking.

We stopped off at a fresh water river which you could float along. It was weird standing in the river being able to drink it. We chilled for a few hours and enjoyed the sun and headed back for some lunch. After lunch it was time to leave and head back to the ferry. I drove us all back and everything was all a ok until i went round a turning which led to my tyre popping so the car started spinning and headed for the tree. Not sure how we didn't crash or how i got us bak on the right track but somehow i did and we all survived. We didn't know about the tyre until we got back on the ferry so had to change tyre which caused a slight delay. Before long we were all good to go so I drove us back to the hire shop (yes actually drove on Australian roads)

We had to exchange cars and say good bye to Leo (miss you) and headed back to the hostel in Noosa. Michael decided yo drive the rest of the way which was lucky because 10 mins down the road the car made a massive click and the bonnet started smoking. This is not something you want when doing 70mph down the road!

We all jumped out and ended up having to wait for another car since the engine wouldn't re start and smoke was still pouring out. We all chilled along the highway until Banksey came back with another one.

We made it back in one piece, checked back in, had a quick freshen up and headed to meet the group for some free food and booze.

Charlie 3 and I took part in some game
Where you had to pick the goon box up from off the floor using you mouth only and tear some off. It got down the just a piece of cardboard and Charlie 3 ended up winning a surfing lesson which she didn't have time to use. Games aren't too good to play when wearing a skirt! It was a good laugh and I'm surprised i got down to the final 3!

We planned on going to Australia Zoo the next since i have a lot of love for Steve Irwin but the hostel bud was full and it took too long on a public bus so we decided to have a beach day! We sunbathed all day and then had a chilled night grabbing a free bbq at the hostel.

Noosa is a lovely place and is defiantly worth a visit. Fraser island was absolutely incredible and i loved every second of it. driving was so cool and i am so glad i did it. However our time here had ended and the next stop was 1770/ Agnes water.
