We managed to get some sunbathing time in before having to try and decide on which dates to do all of our trips and get them all booked up. This was easier said than done!
I liked Byron bay, didn't get a chance to spend as much time as i would have liked there and didn't get to see much due yo having to sort out our east coast trip but it has a very relaxed, chilled vibe about the place and it was nice to relax after being in the City for the last few weeks.
So after an overnight journey on the bus we arrived in Byron bay. I have heard a lot o good things about this place so was looking forward to checking it out. We were staying at nomads so checked in and I was impressed with the room size, balcony, common room and outside space. Compared to Westend this place was luxury. The only down fall was it was full of 18 year old schoolies who had only needed one beer to get drunk. Anyway we checked out the beach which is amazing and decided yo take advantages of what freebies the hostel had to offer. We went on the afternoon walk to the lighthouse. It was the most eastly point in Australia. The views were surreal. We met 3 Londoners and one Walsh guy whilst doing the walk and arranged to meet up with them later for a drink or five.
