We had 2 great Christmas dinners with different friends, a looooot of really good food and just a really good time. After Niagara Falls Diederik surprised me with tickets to an NBA game which was the home opening game for the Toronto Raptors. We all good t-shirts to wear and towels to cheer with and the audience (including us) was very enthusiastic, even though they are not the best team (to put it mildly...) There was a good comeback towards the end that really got the crowd going but they cam in short by 5 points. Justin Bieber was also there and we concluded he has a weird nervous tick and some self-awareness issues that had us in stitches imitating :)
Also checked out the Distillery, many galleries - Ana showed where her latest exhibition was - we had the best hot chocolate (they gave me another free shot because I was picky as per usual haha) and checked out all the funky design shops.
I've done so much lately it starts being difficult to remember it all! :s
There were a couple of trips to the cinema, some more window shopping in different neighbourhoods and trying out as many different coffeeshops as possible. All time loser is Canada's favourite Tim Hurton, Ana made me try it because it is the worst coffee ever... and guess what? It IS the worst coffee ever! Makes the coffee in the office taste good haha. So thanks again for that experience Ana ;)
New Year's Eve was good as well, lots of champagne and vodka and dancing and some odd experiences but i need to have some things left to tell for when I'm back - you curious yet?? :) Strangely enough i didnt do anything at all the next day.
This brings me fairly up to date again as i left for Chicago the day after, which is where I'm now, but more about that later!
