Finally arrive on US soil

After the plane touched down an hour late in Minneapolis, we went through immigration, which was fun as there were huge queues and so many people needing to make connections. We waited in line for about 30-40 minutes, and then did the usual fingerprint, fingerprint and iris scan, before going through to collect our baggage. Luckily we'd decided to buy straps to go on our bags this time, so we recognised them straight away. We then had about 10 minutes to make our flight. We rushed with our bags to the hold drop off to be told we had made it, then rushed through security again to then finally make it to the gate on the last call for the flight - yay we made it...
Have this again to look forward to on the 17th - apart from 4 1/2 hour wait there then
