Drove 30mins to another glacier, again in the rain! Couldn't get too close as the rain had flooded the stream. Then walked to a view point to see it from a distance, looked quite impressive.
Following that we went to Lake Matheson where we went for a walk around the lake. You were meant to be able to see the reflection of Mt Cook in it but it was too foggy although the rain did stop. Saw some pretty views.
Eventually we arrived in Wanaka, the views to here were stunning. One of the views has to be in my top 5, it was breath taking but I couldn't stop to take a photo. Wanaka is a lovely town with a real holiday feel. Spent ages putting up the tent as the wind was very strong. Pottered around and did a skydive this time from 15,000ft (last time was 12,000ft), lovely views and I felt as though I was up there for ages. This time we did a few turns which my stomach didn't like and when you jump out you go onto your back 01 Fox Glacier.
01 Fox Glacier.
! Unfortunately the people were quite boring so it was not as much fun. We did buy a jumper (thanks to Christmas money from mummy and Frankie)and wore them at the same time, how cool are we!
After the skydive and lunch, we headed to Puzzle World a place full of illusions which were really amazing. Much to Simona's dismay I also made her go into a huge maze with me, an hour later we emerged (I wouldn't let her take the emergency exit out).

Can't say we got much sleep as it was freezing, even wore my jacket to bed and had my whole head in the sleeping bag! At least the days were sunny if not rather windy.

I thought NZ was meant to be hot, I haven't even worn a skirt yet but have bought a warm jumper!
