Left Chile and headed into Argentina again to Villa la Angostura (5hr journey). Was very strange because as we neared the border there was lots of snow on the roadside, quite cool. At the Argentinian border the officials decided to randomly check some bags, we have been through the Chile/Argentina border loads of times and this is the first time they did this, so our journey was much longer than anticipated.
Once again it is raining so we just wondered around the very small town where as it was a Sunday most things were closed. Decided to go out for dinner but the restaurant did not serve food until 8pm so cooked once more.
Am sure this place would be very pretty if the sun was shining.

Woke up today and am having a 'I am fed up of travelling day` so am going to have a rant 1 Waterproof trousers get their first outing!
1 Waterproof trousers get their first outing!
. First of all it is still raining so really not inspired to go walking in the forests, then whenever I want something to wear it is at the bottom of my bag so I have to unpack everything, I have run out of underwear, most of my clothes are stained or ruined in someway, I have put on weight so my clothes are not only ruined but also are tight, I have a cold and a bad back which won`t get better as I can`t rest it, the showers when they are hot are generally scolding and you still feel cold because the room is so cold and to top it all off last week someone stole my shower puff (why?) so I bought a new one which has just broken!!!!!

O.k rant over, other than that having a great time!

From there we travelled for 3hrs to San Martin, the views were stunning of lakes and mountains (still raining). It is quite nice here although we got quite stressed when trying to post a parcel because for some reason we had to first go to customs who made us undo everything so they could see what we were sending, they then stuck 4 forms on the parcel, we then had to go to the post office to post it (not cheap). Very annoying! And then we went to buy Nutella chocolate spread and nowhere in town sells it, how can this be?!
We decided to brave the rain and donned our waterproofs, including waterproof trousers (see sexy photo), and set off to a view point so that we could see San Martin from above. The walk took about 1hr and we once again realised how unfit we were as we huffed and puffed up the hill/forest and then slithered back down the muddy paths. But we made it, had great views and did not get lost, yes it is a miracle.
